Quentin Davies | Partner

Quentin started working at Gascoigne Wicks in 2000, becoming a Partner in 2007. He specialises in resource management law, administrative law as well as civil litigation. Having a scientific as well as legal background, he enjoys working at the point where law, policy and science meet.  A substantial part of his work relates to aquaculture and other coastal development.  Quentin has been involved in cases at all court levels from the District Court through to the Privy Council.  However, going to court is often a last resort.  Litigation is often resolved through mediation, arbitration or negotiation.

Outside of work, Quentin spends most of his free time at home chasing after his two young boys. He enjoys taking his family travelling both in New Zealand and abroad to immerse themselves in the world around them. Seeing them fascinated with new places and details is one of his greatest joys in life.
